Christina A. Kemp grew up in the Pacific Northwest and is a writer, poet and teacher. Her writing explores the nuances of life experiences as they unfold amid the relationship to the inner self, others and the natural world. Both analytical and poetic, she combines a psychological background with reflective prose and ethereal, spiritual undertones. Her debut memoir, Across the Distance: Reflections on Loving and Where We Did & Did Not Find Each Other was published by Sidekick Press and released in February, 2022. Her other work has appeared in the True Stories: The Narrative Project, Volume III anthology and Last Leaves Magazine.
Christina has a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and has taught in the field of psychology. She has a small, private practice and teaches dance to children.
